JACI STEMPSKI

I stumbled upon yoga during my sophomore year of college.  My classmate gave me a card to come to a free class and I have been hooked ever since.

I distinctly remember my first class. I showed up late, had no mat, water, or towel.  I was wearing my bulky, grey, University of Minnesota sweatpants that I had gone to bed in the night before.

When class was about to start the teacher came by and had me spit out my gum and take off my socks.  You could say that I had no idea what I was doing.

After those first 60 minutes of confusion, contortion, sweat, and fatigue I emerged a new person.  Yoga soon became an outlet for me.  I noticed the physical change within my first week.  I had never been a person that enjoyed the gym and I had little to no God given athletic ability, but I found myself becoming stronger, more flexible, and toned.

I kept going back to yoga because it helped me mentally.  I learned how to de-stress, refocus and discipline instead of choosing the path of least resistance.   I developed more confidence and acceptance within myself at a time when things seemed so uncertain.

After finishing up school I moved back to Green Bay, and after some time decided that I wanted to create a space where others could experience the same transformation that I had.  I moved to Denver to complete my 200-hour yoga training and upon my return opened Grace Yoga Studio.

It has been a dream, watching people connect with themselves and others in a positive and authentic way.  No matter where you are at: physically, mentally, or spiritually, I encourage you to give yoga a try.  I believe it will give you what you are looking for.

SIGN-IN POLICY

Please sign-in online 2 hours prior to class. If there are less than 2 people signed in online, class will be cancelled.

As always feel free to drop in, however if the minimum (2) is not met class will be cancelled. If you are the only one signed in, you will be notified via email or text that class is cancelled.

This will help us be more energy efficient, so we are not heating a space that is not being used.
